About Wadley Regional Medical Center
"A Century of Patient Care Excellence for a Progressive Community"
Since its founding in 1900 by four dedicated Texarkana physicians, Wadley Regional Medical Center has maintained its leadership role by providing patient care excellence and services unsurpassed by any other medical institution in the Ark-La-Tex region.
Today, our Medical Center offers state-of-the-art technology that allows our physicians to diagnose problems quickly and save lives that once could have been lost. However, diagnosis and treatment of disease is only one part of what we do at Wadley Regional Medical Center.
In our efforts to provide comprehensive, accessible medical care, the Health System also offers an array of alternative health delivery services, such as outpatient facilities and numerous support programs.
As a community health resource, Wadley provides programs and services that address the needs of patients and families before, during and after medical treatment. The result is a total approach to health care delivery for the people of our regional medical community. As the only community-owned, not-for-profit hospital in Texarkana, we take our health care delivery mission very seriously: To enhance the quality of life in the communities we serve by providing comprehensive, high quality health services.
Our early founders determined that this hospital would be built for the community ... by the community ... and should be community operated. All excess revenues are, therefore, channeled back into the system for expanded programs, facilities, equipment and charity care to benefit this community. As the Ark-La-Tex region has grown, Wadley has kept pace with the needs of its citizens, providing quality community health care and health care services for over 100 years.
