Women & Children's Clinics

In order to make primary care available to all women and children of our community, particularly those who have limited access to medical care due to minimal insurance coverage, no insurance, or transportation limitations, Wadley Regional Medical Center offers several avenues to receive healthcare services on an outpatient basis.

Located on the Medical Center’s third floor, dedicated to the care of women and children, are the Wadley Prenatal and Newborn Clinics.

Under the direct supervision of a board certified obstetrician and specialized nurse practitioners, our Prenatal Child offers expectant mothers the convenience and accessibility to outpatient medical care and follow-up.

The Prenatal Clinic

The Prenatal Clinic, open Monday through Friday, offers follow-up and fetal testing for mothers-to-be and is staffed by in-house obstetrical specialists, including three obstetricians, a clinical nurse specialist and a number of birthing professionals.

The Newborn Check Up

Because shorter hospital stays are now the norm, our Newborn Clinic offers a safety net to identify potential problems in newborns. All babies are scheduled to visit our nursery within 48 hours of discharge. This clinic, staffed by registered nurses from our Nursery and Pediatric Departments, offers a clinical assessment of the newborn and a time for moms and dads to ask important questions.

Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday 8a.m.-12p.m. and 1p.m. - 5p.m.
