The Wadley Foundation, a not-for-profit organization, was established in 1989 for the purpose of furthering the work of the Medical Center. Governed by a local board of directors, the Wadley Foundation seeks and accepts charitable contributions from individuals, businesses and corporations, and other foundations to help Wadley Regional purchase the most technically advanced medical equipment available, improve existing facilities, sponsor educational outreach endeavors and provide needed charity care.
The Wadley Foundation is dedicated to developing strong relationships in the community to ensure long-term financial support, ensuring that Wadley Health System fulfills its mission. The Foundation is responsible for executing fundraising programs to provide substantial immediate monies and longer-term endowment funds.
On behalf of its donors, the Wadley Foundation employs the utmost care in the administration and distribution of funds. It is the commitment, as well as the genuine desire to make a difference, that motivates the Foundation Board of Directors in its work on behalf of Wadley Health System.
The Foundation’s vision remains the same -- to ensure the tradition of caring excellence, that Wadley Health System has been known for since 1900, will continue...another 100 years.
