"I had the scan today - a good one! The ladies on the van were all very polite, helpful, and thoroughly explained what was going on and, afterward, what the results meant. This is such a great thing for anyone to do - takes virtually no time (I was in and out in 15 minutes), and is totally painless. Can't imagine why anyone wouldn't do it. Thanks to Wadley for offering this service!

Thank you so much for organizing the AngioScreens for Truman Arnold Companies. It was a great benefit, at a great cost, and provided valuable health information to 46 of our associates and spouses.
I would like to also commend the staff on the Wadley van. Mary, Christine and Cynthia did an excellent job. They were friendly, personable, professional and worked very hard to get everyone screened as quickly as possible. It is evident that they are all very passionate about the work that they do. They represent Wadley Regional Medical Center extremely well.

My wife recently went to the Wadley Scan Unit. While there, she was told she'd passed the vascular tests with flying colors, but following the exam the staff member indicated my wife might want to see her physician about her thyroid, as the ultrasound had indicated there was a lump.
My wife made an appointment with her physician, and has surgery scheduled. The physician indicated the testing had given them a "Heads Up" to something that could have been very serious. For this we'd like to thank the Wadley Scan Staff very much!.

I know you guys put together and did all the leg work to get the Wadley Scan mobile program brought to the Hope plant. I want to take this opportunity to thank all of you for making the Wadley Scan available to the employees of the Hope Brentwood plant and their spouses. You see, it is very near and dear to me that my wife, came out and took the screening. She had a stroke about 13 years ago that was due to a piece of vessel breaking loose. No long term bad effects from it. Doctor said not due to her lifestyle. About 5 years ago she had a heart stint put in . She has a regular visit to her cardiologist annually. She hasn’t had any problems and he says come back next year. Her next appointment is scheduled for next month. The Wadley screening found that she had a major blockage in her left carotid artery. We did the follow up with her primary care doctor who referred her to a vascular surgeon. He had other tests done and a CT scan. She has over 80% blockage in that artery. She is scheduled for surgery to clean the plac next Wednesday, the 29th of August. I think that Brentwood has saved her life. We had no idea she even had a problem. A time bomb ticking waiting to take her life. We are both so thankful that the wellness program was began and that the spouses were included. Although she has her own insurance through the state, Brentwood gave us the opportunity, for a small fee, to utilize the Wadley AngioScreen and found the problem before it was too late.
